Thanks for stopping by. Frankie is the son of my dear friends Tom and Brenda Funari.

Frankie is 25 and lives with a rare condition ATR-X Syndrome.

Frankie lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba with his caregiver, Brian. Tom and Brenda, and their daughter Rebecca, live in Eastern Ontario.

Frankie is a happy soul with a great sense of humor and I feel privileged to have met him in person.

Frankie suffered respiratory failure on March 1 resulting in an ICU stay, a permanent trach tube and additional care needed for Frankie to continue living as independently as possible.

The family is currently dealing with funding challenges, difficult decisions and a potential need for legal action to help ensure ongoing care.

Brenda is spending a great deal of time researching, advocating and attending virtual meetings, taking away from the time she uses for her business.

I'm starting this campaign to assist with potential care, legal and travel costs should the family need to travel to Winnipeg.
