Dear Family & Friends,
It is not in my nature to reach out for help like this, but I have found myself in an unfortunate situation with the passing of my husband, David A. Plummer, Sr., a veteran of the U.S Army, Specialist 4th Class.
On February 11, 2022, at 10:23 p.m., I lost my husband abruptly to cardiac arrest due to Agent Orange-related Hypertension and Diabetes resulting in organ failure. David, 72, was a soldier who served in the Army from 1967 to 1968. My husband's wish is to be buried and not cremated. However, the VA will only pay for a full military funeral with honors; they do not offer any financial help for the preparations that have to be made beforehand. As his wife of 51 years, I would like to respect his wish, but I need help with transportation, the casket, embalming, and any other funeral expenses.
If it's in your heart, please assist us in burying Army Specialist 4th Class David A. Plummer, Sr.
God bless you, and thank you for your donations.
Sincerely,
Joanne Plummer
