Princess Needs Surgery

My name is Marilyn Mendoza and I am asking for help to pay for Princess' surgery. Princess began limping a few weeks ago and progressively worsened; her left hind leg began to give out and she couldn't get back up. I took her to the vet and they did an xray to check what was wrong, she has a ripped tendon which is causing her pain and inflammation.

For the past week she has been on medication to help with the inflammation but she is still limping and has moments where she can't move.

Many of you know that I love animals with a passion and my home is full of them, they have come to me because of the cat distribution system, neglectful families and because no one else wanted them. Princess came to me as a neglected and abused puppy. She came into my life when I most needed her love, I was deep in a depression with very little motive to continue on with my life. When I heard her owners were going to abandon her in the park because no one would take her I didn't think twice and I ran to rescue her.

When I picked her up she was bones, smelled horribly and had candy stuck to her matted fur. She was terrified but I gave her two baths until the smell came out and shaved her down. She was an entirely different pup.

Princess has since been forever grateful, her unconditional love for me is unmeasurable and that love has kept me going even in the worst of my depressive episodes. There is nothing I wouldn't do for her and as I type this up I am broken for not being able to pay out of pocket for her surgery. Unfortunately, my savings were used up last week to pay for Diego's vet care because he has a heart murmur.

I have requested a loan but it isn't enough to cover for the surgery because at first the estimate was low but now the estimate given to me is of almost $8,000.

I don't know if this fundraiser will work but I hope that it atleast helps me cover for a part of the surgery while I also step it up on my side hustle business and find other ways to raise the funds needed.
