Incredible sailor, Paraglider pilot and lifetime friend Garrett needs our help!
Garrett sails out of Hawaii and has been diagnosed with an extremely rare form of bone cancer which up until now, would have been a death sentence!
Thankfully, a revolutionary “Carbon-Ion radiation therapy” has been pioneered and is currently UNAVAILABLE in the USA, and unfortunately, because it’s a new type of treatment not offered at home, Garrett’s health insurance will not pay for it. So he is traveling to Austria to seek treatment at a Carbon-Ion center. Where he has been accepted as a patient, but has yet to raise the funds of up to 100k
The tumor is now over 5” x4” and has eaten away most of his tailbone and
enveloped his nerves so surgery is not possible.
We want this dynamic,
caring sailor to live and so have started a ‘go fund me’ to hopefully allow him to receive treatment.
