Actress in Need

Hi. I'm Craig and I'm here to raise funds for Aimee Kennedy. Years ago, my family almost lost our home. We needed a GoFundMe campaign, and Aimee was one of the many people who helped us. Now Aimee is in need, and it's time to reciprocate.
The goal is $12,000 to help Aimee, who is currently jobless, about to be homeless. Her unemployment benefits were just denied.
From Aimee:
"Hi friends. I know a lot of you haven't heard from me for a couple of years. During the pandemic I moved out of the Chicagoland area with the hopes of owning a mobile home, living frugally and rent-free as I worked from home, and eventually moving back down to Kansas. Due to personal emergencies, I have unable to work for seven out of the last twelve months, and got farther behind in my goals.
"As of Monday, February 26, 2024, I have been given a two-week deadline in which to move my household and find somewhere to stay temporarily, and then figure out how get myself and my cats down to be near my mother and stepfather in Kansas. The situation is made much more difficult because I no longer drive or own a car, and not having secured internet means I won't be able to work remotely during this transitional period. Thankfully I'm receiving some unemployment benefits, but that definitely won't cover everything I am now facing.
"Having movers pack my things in a local storage unit for the meantime is the best solution while the cats and I stay at an Extended Stay-type place. The moving is quoted at about $1,000 with the storage unit being $50 per month. Lodgings are an estimated $50-$60 per day with additional pet fees. I'm expecting that to be a month or two.
"That's just the first part of the challenges I am facing, but once those steps have been achieved, it will be easier to figure out the rest of the journey, which will include securing a job and a place to live in Kansas, getting my household moved there, and working with a pet relocation specialist such as Happy Tails Travel to make life complete once more.
"I am not asking for a gift or a handout, and I plan to pay everything back as soon as I possibly can."
Craig again: We should keep in mind that we could always be next. The equal part of Community Theater is "Community." Please help. Thanks.
