Alexander’s top surgery

I’m Alexander, a transgender man who’s been out & living as male for four years. I started testosterone around a month ago, due to lack of parental permission while I was a minor. Because of this, my insurance refuses to clear me for surgery for another year. 

My chest is a severe source of discomfort for me, my dysphoria surrounding it prevents me from exercising, swimming, wearing the clothes I want, & going outside in the heat. I wear a binder for ~16 hours a day due to my chest dysphoria, which is neither recommended nor healthy.  I’m also starting college soon, and I want to be able to do so as myself, without feeling set apart or held back by my chest.

I’ve consulted an outside surgeon, & the quote for my surgery is slightly over 5k. I have ~3k saved up, but need the rest to avoid having to go into debt. Anything helps, and sharing is also immensely appreciated ❤️
