Makayla Claire Patnode

On February 27, 2019 Makayla Claire Patnode was born premature. She wasn’t due to be born until June 10th but came during the 25th week of pregnancy due to a placental abruption. Weighing only 1lb 14oz and roughly 35cm long, she is considered a “micro-preemie”. She was born at North Memorial and quickly transported to University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital NICU.
