Support Sam’s Fight Against Leukemia

I hate that I’m even having to write this.

After weeks of unexplained illness, Sam was rushed to the hospital where doctors discovered he had suffered multiple strokes. After extensive testing, Sam was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The leukemia caused severe inflammation and clotting, which led to the strokes.

Sam has already started chemotherapy and will be in the hospital for at least the next month for this first round of treatment. His full treatment plan is expected to last about six months.

As you can imagine, this has completely turned life upside down. Between being at the hospital around the clock, time away from work, travel expenses, meals, and everyday bills that don’t stop, the financial stress adds up quickly.

This GoFundMe is meant to help relieve some of that burden so Sam’s family can focus where it belongs — on Sam. Donations will help with things like gas, meals, and daily expenses during what will be a long and exhausting road.

If you’re able to donate, thank you so much. If not, sharing this page, sending prayers, or simply keeping Sam and his family in your thoughts means just as much.

Sam has a long fight ahead, but he has an entire community behind him.
