Hi, I'm creating this fundraiser to raise money for my father's final expenses. In June he was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. The original tumor was 5cm in June and since grown larger, "massive" was the doctors word. A second tumor has formed above the first, closer to his heart and blocking his airway even more. A third tumor has formed on his kidney also. He had 1 round of chemo and 1 round of radiation, but they were too harsh on his body and made him extremely ill. Right now he is in a hospice facility in Virginia, and will most likely be staying there until.....well....you know.. The doctors said he may have a few weeks, or he may not if he develops blood clot or his oxygen drops too low. Any funds raised will be going to any unpaid medical bills and other end of life expenses, as well as gas for my family and I to get to see him as much as possible. I live in Annapolis and my mom in DC, so Virginia is quite the way. I know times are tough for everyone right now, but really, every dollar helps.
