Courtney's Medical Expenses

This campaign is being set up for Courtney Jenkins-Mattson who is in critical condition due to contracting bacterial  meningitis. Bacterial meningitis is an extremely serious illness that requires immediate medical care. If not treated quickly , it can lead to death within hours ...or lead to permanent damage to the brain and other parts of the body. In many instances bacterial meningitis develops when bacteria gets into the bloodstream from the sinuses, ears, or other parts of the respiratory tract.  Courtney is in the ICU at St. Vincent hospital in Indianapolis which is 172 miles from her home in Evansville . Courtney and her husband Brad are newlyweds and have been married 1 month as of yesterday 5/1/2017 . Courtney and Brad share a 7 year old daughter Avery who misses her mommy very much !   Although Courtney has insurance through Brad's employer Midwest Sheet Metal of Evansville , funds are needed for expenses such as food, travel and lodging as Brad continues to stay by his wife's side.
