Help Romeo Beat Cancer!

A few days after Romeo's 13th birthday a cough that he had for a few weeks worsened and he started having wheezy breathing. After bringing him to the vet, thinking it was just a bad cold, I found out that Romeo has a large tumor on his lungs. He was still eating, drinking, pooping normally and full of energy as always so I did not see this news coming.

I was able to get him in to an oncologist the next day (today) and she believes it is a primary lung tumor but he is getting CT scans and fine needle aspiration tomorrow to confirm and make sure it hasn't spread (they're not thinking that it has which is positive) and see if he will be a good surgical candidate.

I have had Romeo since he was a wee little pup that was the size of my hand and we have been through so much together over the years. He is my entire world and I have to do whatever I can to help him live the fullest and happiest life possible. He has been my support through so many difficult times and I just can't put into words how much he means to me.

The cost of this journey is not a small one and I am working through my options to cover the financial piece of his treatment. I know this is a difficult time for everyone but both Romeo and I would be extremely grateful for any support you are able to give. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers during this journey.
