My name is Charlotte Hoar and I am 87 years old.

I have always been independent and paid my bills.3 years ago I had to move from my home. I put everything I own in storage started my quest to find a new home, but it was the beginning of the COVID nightmare. At that time I had money and resources and I was confident a house for me was right around the corner.

Unfortunately for me all the homes on the market were in the hands of Property Management firms and they were not friendly to me as an elder displaying prejudice and many asking for 4x income to qualify.I was so lucky to find an affordable Air BnB.

I always been so healthy and not seen a doctor or been to the hospital in 40 years but last year with all the stress and anxiety I started to experience serious medical problems with my heart and body with CHF, COPD and more.

Now it is almost three years since I moved out and the resources I have can pay my rent for the time being, I am 2 months behind on my storage payments. I need help to pay my storage fees on or before June 20th , if it goes to auction on June 21 I lose everything I own and just the thought of that is devastating.
