Hello everyone, I am writing this on behalf of my mum and our family. Over the past year, my mum has been bravely battling Motor Neurone Disease (MND), a cruel and life-limiting condition that has changed our lives in ways we never imagined. Before her diagnosis, she spent a long time in severe pain and uncertainty, being passed from appointment to appointment while her health continued to decline. Watching someone you love suffer for so long without answers has been incredibly difficult for our whole family.

Since being diagnosed, my mum’s condition has continued to progress, and everyday tasks that were once simple are now a challenge. Despite everything, she continues to show incredible strength and courage, even on the hardest days. MND has not only taken a physical toll on her, but it has also been emotionally exhausting for our family as we try to support her through this journey while coming to terms with the reality of the illness.

We are hoping to raise funds to take our family on a special holiday together. This would give my mum the chance to relax, make precious memories, and enjoy meaningful time with the people she loves most, away from hospital appointments and daily struggles. Time together has become more valuable than ever, and this trip would mean the world to us. Any donation, no matter how small, would help us create lasting memories that we will cherish forever.
