Emergency Housing Fund

UPDATE: Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity and support. It is because of you all I’ll not be homeless!! I’m just a couple of hundred dollars from purchasing this RV. I have put a deposit to hold it for me.

Hello, Rosemary here. Well in a few days I'm going be 61 and have found myself in a situation I never imagined I'd be. I am very close to being homeless. The dwelling that I have been living in for 25 years is uninhabitable. The landlord doesn't want me here to begin with so he is unwilling to do any repairs. I do not want a long drawn out thing. I am due to have the first of a double knee replacement in September. I need to be out of here before then. Many of you know that I've been through hell and back with housing and trying to find a place with only disability income.

My home has been infested with rodents, black mold, bears (entered 3times) and missing a big chunk of floor in bedroom. I'm in a tin box on top of a hill with no AC. Temp inside has reached 110 more than once.

I hate to ask, but please help. This place is literally killing me. I have an asthma attack at least 3 times a day here....and ONLY here...I've developed asthma and COPD from here. I must be out of here ASAP.

Please know that literally every dollar counts.
