Help Us Take My Daughter To The US !!

Hello! I want to ask for your help so that I can take my daughter for medical treatment to Wisconsin.

This is his story...
Everything happened on January 29’2018, a little more than a year ago. My daughter Génesis had an accident injuring on her left foot. We were without light after Hurricane MARIA. We used a small generator that had a metal base protruding from it. That day the generator was next to the door. When my daughter opened the door, she did not notice it and her left toes got entangled in the protruding metal. From that moment everything changed in our lives. Génesis injured a nerve of the foot. At that moment she told me: “Mommy something bad happened to my foot”. I thought that the pain was going to pass....but it was not like that. What seemed simple had become the “worst nightmare of our lives”. That night she could not sleep because the pain was increasing. She has never been able to sleep well again. When she thinks she is asleep, strong nightmares invade her, one after the other, her mind has no rest. Her pain continued to increase to become chronic, prolonged and severe pain 24/7.
I took her to emergency and there was not fracture. Nearly 11 doctors have seen her. She has already experienced, Orthopedic, Neurologists, Pain Management Acupuncture, Medical Cannabis, Naturopath, Physiatrist and Primary Physician. She has gone through X-rays, nerve conduction, MRI and Bone Scan. She has been diagnosed with COMPLEX REGIONAL PAIN SYNDROME. What is that? It is damage of the central and peripheral nervous systems. The symptoms are terrible and are experienced at the same time: prolonged and excessive pain, changes in the temperature of the skin ( as if they literally burned the leg), burning, tingling, problems with the circulatory system (the leg changes blue, gray, pink), involuntary shaking at her extremity causing strong pain (as if an electric cable were shaking), problems coordinating muscle movement, contact with the skin is very painful, all these symptoms extended to the other foot and to the the arm, etc. According to science, serious cases do not recover and will probably have a long-term disability.

From a completely healthy young girl before the accident, Gènesis is now confined to a wheelchair or her bed.We have been hoping and praying for doors to open for her healing.

Recently, I had the blessing of meeting and talking with Dr.Vargas-Jon (Podiatrist Surgeon) whose office is in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She recommends that I move to Milwaukee to take Génesis to Froedtert Memorial Hospital, the best hospital in the State of Wisconsin. Dr.Vargas-Jon believes there are some treatments available at Froedtert Memorial that might help Génesis.Dr. Vargas-Jon shared with us that this process is one that will take not a few weeks but many months even a year or so. Although once there we might get government assistance we must reside in Wisconsin to obtain it; in the meantime we need to cover travel expenses, rent, utilities, and food. We need to start the treatment as soon as possible, but we don’t have the means. If you feel in your heart you are able to make a donation we will be eternally grateful. In addition, after 38 years since I saw him last, I met my former pastor, Rev. Jaime Nolla, who lives in Racine, Wisconsin. He and his wife have promised to assist us much as possible if we take her to Milwaukee.

God has been very good to Génesis throughout the process.God has wonderful plans with her life. God knows her heart like no one. God knows her fidelity and her love for him. Génesis walks victorious towards her healing because she has faith and faith is the security of things that we do not see but we are sure will be fulfilled since Jesus won her on the cross.The path has been long and painful but victorious in Jesus.
