Help Eder's rehabilitation and medical bills
Donation protected
Hello everyone. On December 23, 2021, only a day before Christmas. My husband Eder Saucedo was struck by a car while returning home from work. This horrific accident has resulted in a broken pelvis, injury to the spine, right leg and left arm, as well as internal bleeding.
Within 2 days, my husband had to undergo 4 separate procedures. Each procedure to stabilize, repair, and save his pelvis, spine and leg as well emergency blood transfusion. his 3rd and 4th surgical procedures which were back to back, took approximately 17hrs. 3rd procedure was his pelvic repair surgery. His 4th procedure was a 2 part spine surgery.
Those gruesome and heartbreaking days has led us into waiting. Waiting for him to heal enough to begin an intensive 6 months of physical therapy and rehabilitation.
As many of you know. My husband has worked multiple jobs ever since he was able to work. He is one of the most hardworking and self sacrificing person that you can ever meet. He was also our sole provider and bread winner. For the last few years he has worked as a soccer instructor with both typical and kids with mental disabilities.
Since having our daughter I have been a full time mom while Eder has provided for not only myself and our 18 month old daughter, but also my mother who is lives with us.
We had to endure the hardest circumstances for our family into this new year. On top of that we have not been able to see Eder face to face because of COVID.
We are eternally grateful for the amazing and fast response of the medical team that was able to save his life.
But now we have a new hardship.
Our family has lost the essential income. unfortunately, his insurance will not cover all the expenses of hospital bills, medication, equipment, and physical therapy. He will also not receive any paid medical leave.
We are asking for ANY HELP that you can provide. All the money will go towards Eder's rehabilitation and his family basic needs.
I want to thank you so much for your time and any donations.
