Shane’s Recovery

My beautiful friend Ali was so lucky to have her husband come home from multiple tours overseas with the US Army. Unfortunately things took a turn when Shane entered the hospital for vision problems which lead to his diagnosis of Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia.
First week update from Ali:
“The first week after Shane was diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia, he had Differentiation Syndrome from all the fluids he was given. That sent him to the ICU and was placed on life support for five days. He thankfully pulled through and is out of the ICU! He has now been diagnosed with C. Diff, an infarkt in his spleen, and now corona virus. It’s all scary and new (and very random... he was so healthy and strong). The doctors continue to remind us that his numbers are improving and we need to trust the roller coaster process.”
Shane and Ali both have a long road ahead of them, and with both of their families being thousands of miles away, I wanted to make this page for loved ones far and wide to be able to help them during this time of need ❤️
