Over 40 years ago, Nigel Lewis started putting owl and kestrel boxes up on Salisbury Plain and the surrounding areas. The work he started has been credited with increasing the number of barn owls on the plain and local farmland in the area. In 2024 Nigel passed away, and i was lucky enough to take on the running of one of the sections of the group, having worked with Nigel for 5 years. We inherited his vehicle to carry on with the project he started...but it now requires work on it, and it will be more expensive than it it worth. To this end, we need a more substantial vehicle, that we can use to transport equipment, owl boxes, and we can use to access boxes confidently across farmland and rough terrain.
