Meet Taz. I have had my boy since he was 3 weeks old, he’s now 7. Yesterday we were laying together, cuddling, all was good. December 22, 2024 my worst nightmare happened. He was laying down. Sleeping which he’s best at. He went to get up and suddenly he was panting, meowing in pain and couldn’t move his right arm. Instantly I knew something was wrong. As many of you know the LCV doesn’t have a vet open on the weekends so we rushed him to WSU. Something that I thought was going to be a broken arm, turned into him having fluid in his lungs and being put into the oxygen tank. Tomorrow he will see a cardiologist. Currently they believe it’s a lung or heart problem. His arm they believe didn’t even have anything to do with it but was a coincidence. He’s now at WSU staying there until further notice. If you know me you know my boy is my WHOLE world. I wouldn’t be here without him and the thought of loosing him destroys me. just for today our bill was $1700. They are very hopeful that they can help him live a longer healthier life but that all involves how much money I can provide to give him the care he needs. They are estimating another 1000-2000 dollars. I know it’s the holidays which is the worst time of the year, especially when you’re in my position of loosing your baby boy. Anything helps.
