Medical Emergency funds

Hi all,
On Monday November 20, 2023 my husband and I flew into Anchorage to go to my 27 week OBGYN appointments on the 21st. Then fly back home on the 22nd. Things were normal and we were excited to see little man on the ultrasound. However, life had other plans. The night of the 20th I started having small contractions. I knew this wasn’t normal so we went into the ER and we were sent to Labor and delivery. They had me give a urine sample and when that happened I noticed a bit of blood. Not good. So they hooked me up to monitors and watched babies heart rate and my contractions. His heart rate was good and I was definitely having contractions but wanted to look me over and get an Ultrasound just to make sure.
After testing and an ultrasound it was determined that I was having a partial placental abruption and needed to be transferred to the other hospital that has a top level NICU. At that point we were scared. He wasn’t ready to be born at only 27 weeks and 2 days.
After being transferred, the doctors told me that I will be admitted for observation on strict bed rest due to the partial abruption. This is because if the placenta continues to peel away that could put my life and my babies life in danger. So they said plan to stay here until your baby is born rather that be today next week or next month. We were not prepared to start missing work now we were going to work right up till we couldn’t to save what we can and that way we would be ok when we took off to have him. But being in the hospital and not in a hotel helped bec things were somewhat covered.
Well after almost a week the day after thanksgiving, November 24th, I woke up at 6am and got up to go to the restroom and started having the worst pain/contractions. I also start bleeding a lot more. The nurse rushed in, hooked me up to monitors and noticed little man’s heart was spiking and my contractions were a min apart. She called for the doctor and when she came in she said ok we need to get baby out now we are now concerned that the placenta has detached more and now both our lives are at stake. They wheeled me to the OR and said no time for epidural I had to go under meaning Brandon (daddy) couldn’t be in the room.
At 8:14am our baby boy was born, 2 lbs 11 ounces, 14.5” long. He was rushed to the NICU. Me however started to hemorrhage the placenta completely came out with baby and I lost a lot of blood. I ended up needing a blood transfusion due to it.
As of today, I am out of the hospital doing well. I am still sore of course recovering from major surgery.
Baby boy, Remington is doing well in the NICU. He is breathing on his own he just has a CPAP to help remind his lungs to work properly. He has had some dips in his heart rate from time to time but he has been recovering well.
now he will be in the NICU until he is full term. Today he is 29 weeks and 2 days old (as of 12-3-23) he has 11 more weeks till he can possibly go home.
of course, Brandon and I, are staying in Anchorage too. Thankfully we have been put in patient housing till we all can go home.
However, we are in a hotel that has a mini fridge and microwave. So we have been trying to figure out food and to get back and forth from the hospital every day we have to take an Uber. On top of that we only came to Anchorage thinking it was for two nights so only packed for two nights. We are needing to purchase some extra clothes.
We do have some money but not enough to last 3 months of paying our bills, paying for Uber and for food even Christmas, our other son will be will be with us and celebrating Christmas in a hotel room or NICU.
We absolutely hate asking for help but in this case we desperately need it especially as we get close to Christmas.
Even if you can’t help, please share just in case someone else can.
Also, please pray that our baby boy makes it through and that in 11 weeks we will get to bring him home, happy and healthy.
