Hello, my name is Olympia, as some of you may know my beloved son Joshua has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of Leukemia. He was hours away from dying due to complications from pneumonia at the time of diagnosis. We are thankful for the staff at both hospitals he was/is being treated at. They were able to help start the critical care he needed to increase his chances of survival.

During this time, his wife Samantha has taken on a role of main caretaker with an unpaid leave for my son and for their beautiful little family. She is unable to work full time because she is now the sole caregiver at this time for their son Joshua Jr., and two lovable dogs Obi and Gunner. She also helps Joshua during admission for his intensive chemotherapy treatment, and during his recovery which includes multiple admissions for blood transfusions and help with the complications he has been facing.

My son is currently serving his country in The United States Army, deployed multiple times on combat deployments. Joshua is now fighting his toughest battle yet and will continue to fight. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy, and we are praying we receive good news soon.

Latest update:

March 4, 2025- Joshua is currently undergoing his 3rd round of consolidation chemotherapy and had a complication resulting in him getting a blood clot (Pulmonary Embolism) stuck in an artery in his lung. During the recovery of the Pulmonary Embolism, he also needed multiple emergent platelet transfusions due to his levels being so low they were nearly undetectable. Whiched caused him to be at high risk of a spontaneous brain bleed.

Joshua and Samantha have only been married for one year and during this time they welcomed my grandson Joshua Jr. and experienced this life altering diagnosis. This money will help them with bills, food for their family, and any other medical expenses that they cannot afford.
