Hello, 
My name is Frank Ramirez. I am the father of Kal-El.
my son was diagnosed with a rare form of ITP. Idiopathic thrombocytopenic  purpura. This disease prevents my son from creating enough red blood cells to clot or prevent bleeding. So if hit in any organ or the head he can bleed to death. Also it has a reverse effect on his white cells also. 
He diagones with this disease at 2 years old. We discovered he had this disease when he started bruising all over his body. His preschool believed I was a using him. Child services asked us to have a complete phish all done. A blood test was taken and then we knew. 
So for the past 4 years we have been taking weekly to monthly trips to the chemo ward for infusions. There is no cure only treatment. Depending on his counts he goes into the hospital a lot. 
as you could guess, he doesn't get to play like a normal kid. He has to constantly be monitored to make sure he doesn't get a head injury. Or worse.
The reason I'm asking for help is that I am a single dad. My son can not stay alone during these treatments. I don't have a partner or any family that can help me. I have to miss an entire day of work to be there with  my son. 
We arrive at 830 am and leave at 5-6 pm. Always the first to arrive and the last to leave.
I use all my yearly sick days so I am always short for medicines, bills and rent. I'm asking for enough to cover his medical bills.
