Hi. My name is Tommy. I was very healthy and active my entire life, but at age 31, I was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer called Ewings Sarcoma.

Ewings sarcoma is a rare bone cancer primarily affecting children and young adults, often presenting in as persistent pain or swelling misdiagnosed as a sports injury, impacting long bones. When it started for me, it was hard to find due to presenting as standard back pain and sciatica symptoms.

The cancer started as a tumor in my pelvis, destroying my nerve roots. It put me through immense pain for 8 months in 2024 , destroying my nerves and eating away at my leg muscle. I then underwent a 6 hour surgery in February 2025 to remove most of the tumor, and then started 9 months of intense chemotherapy and radiation treatment. I spent that 9 months rebuilding my leg and learning to walk again.

In November 2025, just one month after beating cancer and ending treatment, I fell into a recurrence. The cancer has spread into my spine and brain lining. I am now unable to walk again, except this time it’s both of my legs, and my weakness is growing more by the day. I am fighting through more radiation to help slow the disease, however it is incurable.

If something were to happen to me, I would like my partner to have some financial stability in order to get back home to America and be with his family where we are from.

If I survive cancer, I will use the money to both help us get back on our feet and donate to Ewing Sarcoma research.
