Last night one of the hardest things we’d ever had to deal with as a family happened. Our father, Jose Hernandez suddenly passed away. No one could have prepared us for the hours and days ahead of his passing, it has been a mixture of denial and acceptance that he is no longer here with us all.
He was a great person and a great Dad, who survived two past strokes that left him debilitated and needing a full time care taker. What started off as a normal day yesterday turned into our worst nightmare.
We now have to prepare for a funeral that none of us were prepared for, as we did not plan on my Dad passing away so suddenly.
