Toby Watson's Medical Expenses

To my friends and family- many of you know my dad is terminally ill. He has cirrhosis of the liver, which is at the end stage. To manage all of his symptoms and keep him alive medication is adamant. As of right now all of his medications equal about $400 a month. My mom has some how managed to run my dads business just enough to get by. When my dad is hospitalized he receives at least one pint of blood if not more (a blood transfusion), continues his medicine that he takes when he is home and IS ALSO GIVEN A MEDICATION CALLED XIFAXIN. Xifaxin is a pill that has many different uses, one of those is very important to my dad. It helps with hepatic encephalopathy, which is where you become confused and have an altered state of conciousness almost comatose like. As of right now he is only able to make it at home for about 7 days on average before becoming very confused and almost setting into a comatose state, which sends him straight back to the hospital. His doctors have told us that if he could receive this medicine while at home it would help tremendously!

Unfortunately this medication is outrageously expensive so here is where we need help from our loved ones-

Xifaxin cost $1200 a month without insurance. My dad is not insured but is covered by a charity program that helps with his hospital bills but not medication.
The Xifaxin manufacturer will discount the prescription to $700. I have set our goal as $1,400 in hopes to be able to provide my dad with two months of Xifaxin.

If you are able to help financially, any amount, even $1 will help. It will be so greatly appreciated by my dad and our family.

For those of you who are not able to give any financial assistance we completely understand and we do just ask that you lift my dads name up in prayer and pray for his strength.
