Melina's Fund

Those of us who have had the pleasure of having our kids in Ms. Melina’s class know how lucky we are to have found her program. She doesn't have to tell you teaching kids is her passion, you see it everyday. Kids love to come to her class, they rather be in school than on vacation, that's how much of an impact she has on her kids. 

During the summer of 2016, she had to have major surgery, but she postponed it because the doctor couldn't guarantee that she would be back to work by the time the new school year started. She didn't want to have the families counting on her have to scramble to find another program. She finally had surgery at the beginning of Winter break, but during her recovery, and in the middle of the holidays, her house caught fire and her and her whole family, husband, and three kids, are not allowed in their home since it was red-tagged. They lost everything, including school supplies for her kids to go back to school this January. 

Let's help this amazing person and her family get back on their feet and hopefully make her children’s life as normal as possible. It is because of people like her that our future generations will excel!
