ወፍሪ ረድዔት ን ኣብያተ-ክርስቲያናት ትግራይ

ፃውዒት ንዳያስፖራ ተዛረብቲ-ትግርኛ እን ፈተውቲ ህዝብታት ትግራይ እን ኤርትራን፦

A call to the Tigrinya-speaking Diaspora and friends of the peoples of Tigray and Eritrea:

ከምቲ ቅዱስ ቃል “ንስኻትኩም ናይ ምድሪ ጨው ኢኹም፤ ... ንስኻትኩም ናይ ዓለም ብርሃን ኢኹም፤ ኣብ እምባ ዘላ ኸተማ፥ ክትስወር ኣይትኽእልን እያ። መብራህቲ ኣብ ገዛ ንዘሎ ዅሉ ምእንቲ ኸብርህ፥ ኣብ በሪኽ መቐመጢኡ የንብርዎ እምበር፥ ኣብ ትሕቲ ኸፈር ኣየንብርዎን። ከምኡ ኸዓ ነቲ ፅቡቕ ግብርኹም ሪኦም፥ ኣብ ሰማያት ንዘሎ ኣቦኻትኩም ምእንቲ ኸመስግንዎ፥ ብርሃንኩም ኣብ ቅድሚ ሰብ ይብራህ።" (ማቴዎስ 5፥13-16)

As Scripture says, “You are the salt of the earth; ... You are the light of the world; A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:13-16)

ቤተክርስቲያን ናይ ዓለም ብርሃን ኮይና ነቶም ኣብ ፀልማት ዘለዉ ብርሃን ንክተብርሀሎም፣ ልዕሊ ኩሉ ድማ ነቲ ብናይ ዘርኢ ምፅናት ኲናት ዝተሓስየ ምስኪናይ ህብረተሰብ ናይ መንፈሳዊ እን ኣካላዊን ፈውሲ ፍልፍል ምእንታ ክትከውን፣ እን ወንጌል ብዘይ መዐንቀፍ ንክስበክ፣ ንክንሓግዝ መንፈሳዊ ሓላፍነት ኣለና። ስለዝይ፣ በዝይ ወፍሪ ኣቢልኩም ወፈያኹም ንኽትወፍዩ ዓለምለኸ ምሕዝነት ናይ ትግርኛ ወንጌላውያን ክርስቲያናት (ዓ፡ም፡ት፡ወ፡ክ) ካናዳ ይሓትት።

We have a spiritual responsibility to help the Church be the light of the world and to shine light to those in darkness, and above all to be a source of spiritual and physical healing for a society affected by a genocidal war. Therefore, the Global Alliance of Tigrayan Evangelical Christians (GATEC) Canada asks you to donate through this campaign.

ብስም ዓ፡ም፡ት፡ወ፡ክ ነዚ ወፍሪ ኣብ ጐ-ፈንድ-ሚ ክንውልዖ ዘይኸዓልናሉ ምኽንያት ናይ ቻርቲ ሓዋሕዉ ገና ስለ ዘይረኸብና እዩ። ነቲ ናይ ቻርቲ ሓዋሕው ንምርካብ ነዊሕ ግዘ ይውድእ እዩ፣ እት ረድዔት ግና ክፀንሕ ስለ ዘይግባእ ብስም "ልዑል ካሕሳይ" ኣቦወንበር ዓ፡ም፡ት፡ወ፡ክ ገቢርናዮ ኣለና።

The reason we couldn't launch this campaign on Go-Fund-Me directly as GATEC is because we don’t yet have a registered charity status and issue tax receipts. It is taking a long time to get a registered charity status, but the relief of our people cannot wait.
