Hi there. As unfortunate as my situation is, I am so thankful for the strong army I have behind myself and Reggie. I purchased Reggie on Friday July, 9 2021. On Saturday July, 10 we ended up at the emergency vet where Reggie tested positive for parvovirus. It is now Thursday July, 15 and Reggie is still being treated around the clock between my regular vet and the emergency vet. His fight with parvo for the last 6 days has really taken a toll on both Reggie and myself, physically, mentally, and emotionally. I am very aware that parvo is a disease that cannot always be prevented, despite vaccinations and keeping a dog inside and in a clean space. I am also very aware that it is not your fault that I have ended myself in this sucky situation, nor was it really ever in my power to know that I would purchase a sick dog. I have been incredibly realistic, and also a little optimistic that Reggie's fight with parvo could end either way at this point. Although I am thousands of dollars deep in vet bills, and although I absolutely HATE to ask for money from someone I do not know, I am here with the hope that even $1 would help at this point. If and only if you feel compelled to donate any bit, just know how truly grateful I am that you have chosen to help me in such a dark time. And if you do not have any money (I don't either, don't worry), just know that your thoughts and prayers for Reggie mean the absolute world to me. I have included all of his vet bills so far to ensure you that this isn't some sort of scam, and I will continue to post updates as time goes on. Hopefully this won't go on too much longer, but we are all in the fight for Reggie's life and will continue to be until we have an answer.
