Megan, my hardworking, beautiful mother and best friend, has recently been handed a devastating breast cancer diagnosis (invasive ductal carcinoma). We're still unsure of what stage yet, but it is Grade 3, which suggests it's most aggressive, unfortunately. At just 40 years old, needless to say, the road ahead is going to be a battle that Megan herself said she wouldn't wish on anyone else.

As her daughter, I'm creating this fund with the goal in mind to assist her with any upcoming financial obligations, from health care to making sure, in her fight, that she doesn't risk losing her home or fall behind on her monthly bills.
