Support the Underwood Family

Hurricane Helene caused unprecedented flooding of the Nolichucky River that has decimated our community on Hwy 107. They are referring to our community as "The Island" because nearly every bridge and road leading in and out has been destroyed.

Our house is a total loss. My family will be needing to replace our necessities like clothes and beds, and the funds for daily expenses to get us going again. My wife, both my daughters, and myself greatly appreciate any help offered.
