Help Fund Paige & Emily's Medical Expenses

Paige and Emily are bright creative young women who have had their lives shut down by chronic illness and pain. They are sisters.
Paige, 32, has struggled with endometriosis, chronic migraines, and several other chronic diseases since she was 16. We, her parents, have spent hours in hospitals, emergency rooms, and doctor’s offices seeking help and treatment, as well as tens of thousands of dollars seeking help for her. She had made some progress, and after a long fight got disability status and a small monthly stipend, but was unable to support herself and had reached the end of what local doctors could do to help her. Despite living in crippling pain, Paige managed to graduate summa cum laude with a degree in psychology and has always hoped to find meaningful work as well as pursue her love of music.
Meanwhile Emily, now 30, graduated from UCSC, studied to become fluent in medical Spanish, and began working in the medical field while preparing to go to graduate school to become a nurse practitioner. In 2018 Emily began to experience endometriosis symptoms. She has now also exhausted all that local medical doctors have to offer. Because they can’t work due to extreme constant pain, they have no medical insurance.
The state provided insurance does not give them access to the doctors and alternative care they need. We support them completely and have moved them to where they can be closer to better medical care. In order to access that medical care, they need really good insurance. They are asking for $18,000.00 to help pay for approximately one year of insurance and medical expenses. The hope is that with the proper care, they can become pain free enough to work and help provide for themselves and eventually begin to thrive. Please help them if you can. Thank you.
