In Honor of Nick Ortega. A final farewell.

It is with a heavy heart that I share the tragic and unexpected passing of my beloved husband, Nick. He was the kindest, most generous person I’ve ever known—unforgettable, deeply loving, and always ready with a smile. He touched countless lives with his warmth, selflessness, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends.

On July 9th 2025 Nick was on his way to work—doing what he always did, providing for his wife and four children—when he was involved in a fatal car accident. Our family is absolutely devastated by this sudden loss.

We are now faced with the painful task of saying goodbye far sooner than we ever imagined. In this incredibly difficult time, we are humbly asking for help to cover funeral expenses and give Nick the memorial he so deeply deserves. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help and allow us to focus on honoring his memory and supporting our children as we navigate life without him.
