Help Liz Beat Cancer!

Hi everyone! Thank you for clicking on this link to help me in my health fight. Recently, I was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer, polycythemia Vera with the addition of mild fibrosis. It has been a very difficult time with a lot of questions and frustrations that I have had to carry on a daily basis. My pain and discomfort and symptoms have only gotten worse and I’m thanking God for treatment at UNC cancer center for the needed treatments. I am so thankful for all of those who have been praying for me and carrying me in their hearts.

While I do not enjoy asking for money, this time has been very challenging financially. All the money I had been working hard to save the last few months has quickly depleted. While my insurance is really good with my job, each procedure I’m getting done is costing between $300-500 on top of costs for doctors visits and medicine. I haven’t been able to work this last month and I will not be this coming month, so I won’t have any money coming in. On top of that, I have had recent car issues, and I had to pay close to $1000 to fix it.

I had been working extra hard at the end of last year to save to go volunteer at an orphanage in Argentina. Sadly, that trip has been postponed but I do hope to still go in the future.
