My dad was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma at the end of 2022. In February of this year he underwent surgery to remove the cancerous tissue on his face. While he was getting prepped for his second surgery, the doctors found out he has a heart condition called right atrial flutter. His plastic surgeon couldn't do his surgery until his heart rate stabalized. He had to stay in the hospital for 6 days before the doctors finally figured out a medication to help his heart beat in the correct rhythm. My dad has 2 more surgeries to undergo and my parents are unable to pay all the bills that are coming their way. My dad is unable to work due to where the cancer was removed. My parents own the European Store here in Mount Vernon and my dad is the one who runs it. Due to his surgeries, he isnt able to be there so my mom has been doing it all.
