Phil Parkinson funeral and medical

Phillip parkinson is born and raised in Rexburg. He is a Farmer, retired paramedic, and a loving father and husband. In 1998 he received a liver transplant, and lasted him nineteen years. March 15, 2017 he was admitted to Madison and the next morning he was rushed to University of Utah hospital for a bowel obstruction. After three weeks of recovering he was sent to a rehabilitation center. He came home after a month and in under ten hours he went into septic shock and was life flighted back to Utah. His wife Dayna, packed up and slept in his hospital room for almost eight months. Eight months of waiting for a liver in Utah, Halloween day the doctors announced they had a liver. They put him into surgery the next morning and discovered that Phil was inoperable. Since he had so many cases of sepsis (bacteria infected blood stream) that caused scar tissue they could not reach the liver or even see it. If they cut into the scar tissue he would bleed to death. After four years of waiting he did not receive a liver and his family is absolutely devastated and heartbroken . Phil has had many cases of pneumonia, sepsis, bowel obstructions, large abscesses in his lungs, and Multiple other infections. He has been tough and fought many years against liver disease. Phil has been a farmer for over thirty years, and a paramedic for over fifteen years. He is a loving and caring husband to his wife Dayna, and an amazing father to his fourteen year old daughter, Brooke. Anything would help.
