First of all, we just want to thank everyone for their continued support throughout this entire process. Megan is doing much better & has her eyes set on leaving the hospital in the next couple of weeks. Many of you have asked how to assist Megan and Ryan financially so we looked into this gofundme site. Unfortunately, Megan will not be able to receive long-term disability since she was at her new job just short of the required 90 days and will be without income for at least a year. She will not be allowed to drive for the next 6 months, will not be able to return to work for at least a year, and will not be able to travel outside of San Diego for the next year due to doctor appointments and hospital follow up. Any financial support will go a long way toward helping her pay off her medical expenses, along with other expenses associated with the medical support she will continue to need.
