Help Support Poojan Nayyar's Fight for Recovery

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Strangers,
My name is Ramesh Chandar Nayyar, and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart. My 21-year-old son, Poojan Nayyar, has been battling severe health complications since December. What began as a fungal ear infection rapidly worsened, leading to a series of devastating diagnoses, including meningitis and significant neurological damage.
Poojan's condition deteriorated to the point where he is now in a coma and on life support at Mississauga Hospital. Despite the best efforts of his medical team, Poojan's situation remains critical, with no clear prognosis for recovery. The infection spread from his ear to his brain, causing immense inflammation and affecting his neurological function.
My wife and I traveled from India to Canada for Poojan’s convocation in July, only to be faced with this heartbreaking crisis. As we try to navigate this challenging situation, we are also struggling with financial difficulties. Our restaurant business in India is suffering due to our extended stay here, and we are unable to manage our expenses and daily needs in Canada.
We are currently staying with relatives in Scarborough, but the daily travel to Mississauga is taking a toll on us both physically and financially. We are seeking support to help us cover the costs of our stay, medical expenses, and daily necessities during this trying time.
Any contribution you can make will go directly towards:
- Medical expenses for Poojan's ongoing treatment and life support
- Accommodation and travel costs while we are in Canada
- Essential living expenses during our extended stay
We are deeply grateful for any support you can provide, whether it is financial or simply sharing our story with others. Your kindness and generosity will make a significant difference during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you for your compassion and support.
Sincerely,
Ramesh Chandar Nayyar
