A Note from Todd Bolton
Please all forgive me, I have not been on FB for years. As many of you know and many, many of you do not know, my wife Jayme was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis 14 years ago. This is a terrible disease, I could not wish this on anyone.
We have three children in high school. Cooper a junior at Hendersonville High School (HHS). Just turned 17 on the twelfth. Seventeen now, so we go around a bit, me and him, but he is soooo special to me and his momma. An extremely, accomplished swimmer that will secure a wonderful scholarship at a division 1 college on his sportsmanship and his academic achievements.
Our twins, Tucker and Preslie, who turned 15 on the 25th of September. Preslie is an athlete like her mother was when she was young. A basketball star, in her league, and a wonderful student at school. She also goes to HHS and is a freshman. Tucker is a freshman at John Paul 2 High School. He just got back last nigh at 11:30pm from hunting with his grandfather in ID. Gets wonderful grades and wants to be a Wildlife Officer when he grows up.
Jayme's disease has been a slow progressive deal since they all were very small children. The twins do not remember ever seeing her stand up, but Cooper does. First drug a foot, then went to a cane, then a three wheel scooter, now a power chair that she can no longer drive at all. She requires 24hour care. I no longer play music. I cannot be gone that long. She is the only woman for me, I miss it very much but we have bigger fish to fry like getting these kids raised and on the way to their own productive lives.
On the 31st of October - Halloween Ya'all!! There will be a benefit show to help my family. I have played many, many benefit shows in my life to help people, but I have never had to have a benefit show for me or mine. I have found myself unemployed for the first time in my life and it is VERY expensive on a family to be this handicapped. We are struggling to say the least.
The benefit is at The Capay Junction, just west of Woodland, CA, a couple of miles out of Esparto on Hwy 16. The event starts at 3pm there is a Tri-tip dinner that starts at 5pm. My long time buddy Mike Ward takes the stage at 6pm. There will be many special guests, his band is wonderful! This will be a special night for sure and I just want everyone to know costumes are encouraged and this is one of my best friends, Val Zentner's favorite holidays. Make him proud..
For more info on this event call the Capay Junction [phone redacted]
I was asked to be there for 1 night from Tennessee, I cannot make this and I hope everyone understands.
Thank you to Val and Bonnie Zentner and everyone that has had a hand in trying to help my family
From me and my wife Jayme, God bless all of you
