Draper Family Fundraiser

Happy New Year to all our family, friends, co-workers, and anyone else who may be taking the time out of your day to support our GoFundMe page! My name is Heather and I have been best friends with Tamara for the past 33, almost 34 years! I am writing to you today to ask for ANY support that you may be able to provide to her and her family during this very difficult and trying time! Her husband, Dave was diagnosed with COVID-19 on December 19, 2020 and after a visit to the ER the next day was admitted to the hospital. He was then placed in ICU with a ventilator on the 22nd. He continued to struggle through Christmas and was not able to be home with Tamara and their beautiful daughter, Tatiana. On top of all this, Tamara is expecting their second child in April 2021. The stress has been overwhelming on their family to say the least!
Doctors attempted to remove Dave’s ventilator for a week before they were successfully able to do so. Although, he was not able to be with his family for New Years, to support his wife when she returned to work in the retail business, and to support his daughter as she returned to school(Dave often is the one that takes Tatiana to school and picks her up), THANK GOD he finally was able to speak to Tamara on the phone this week! This was something that was not guaranteed even a week ago for their family! 
We are aware that not all families have been able to speak to their loved ones after they have gone into the hospital, let alone get news that they would at some point be able to return home! We are all so very grateful for the current outlook for Dave! With the unbelievable blessing of the AMAZING medical staff that have cared for him, and been so comforting to the Draper family, comes the cost of this all. Tamara has had to miss a lot of work when they were quarantined and she is the main provider at this time for their family. They have insurance, but it is not great and it cost $500 just to visit the ER due to early contractions, most likely set off by the stress of the current situation they are facing.  Medical bills will be rolling in and more time will have to be taken off to care for Dave when he is able to return home, hopefully by the end of the month! On top of that, they have a baby on the way and that means more time off and more medical bills to pay. 
I am praying that Dave comes home soon, that Tamara has a healthy pregnancy without complications and that Tatiana is able to hug her Daddy again soon! I am asking for your support in providing anything that you can to help this wonderful family! Whether it is a donation to help pay the medical bills that are piling up (no amount is too small),  prayer for comfort, healing, and financial relief, happy thoughts and good vibes, whatever it is that you can do would be deeply appreciated!
