Mike And Corinna’s Recovery Fund

Mike went into organ failure about 3.5 weeks ago due to an infection that spread over his body. Most of the infection landed in fluid near his spine. Some symptoms included not being able to walk, sickness, extremely high blood pressure and severe constipation. When his blood pressure skyrocketed into nearly fatal numbers he had to be placed into a medical coma and on a ventilator to help him breathe for several days. They later found out that the infection was due to a few bad teeth from not having a root canal done. After a major back surgery to remove the infected fluid around his spine he was able to come out of the coma and off the ventilator. But he is still having a hard time standing for more than 10 seconds and talking. He has been in the hospital for over 3.5 weeks and will need to continue into a long term physical therapy rehab to gain back his motion. However now his insurance is denying coverage over all hospital bills and PT care. Corinna, Mike’s wife, has also had recent Health problems within the last six months that has disabled her from driving. Leaving her to take Uber’s and relying on friends to go to and from the hospital and take care of her two young boys at home. She has been staying at the hospital every night with Mikey.With medical bills piled up from my Corinna’s recent health conditions (August 2018) they are now struggling more financially with Mikey’s new situation.
