This is my Luca. And I desperately need help.

Luca is fighting for her life right now. She’s been diagnosed with Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA) — a sudden, life-threatening condition where her immune system is destroying her own red blood cells.

Her red blood count dropped to 13%, dangerously low. She urgently needs hospital care, blood transfusions, and immunosuppressive medications to survive.

I never thought I'd ever created a gofundme, but I have nowhere else to turn.

She needs transfusions, and they start between $1000 and $1500.

If you know anything about my life, you know that Luca is my heart and my soul.

She is my best friend. I dont think I will be able to function without her.

She is my whole world.

Also, if you know much about my life, you know Andy and I have had a horrible last couple of years, Andy having surgery after surgery, in and out of work. And my back surgery, and I dont get paid during the summer. I just dont have the means to treat her right now.

I cannot even begin to tell you how much I love this dog.

During all my troubles, she has refused to leave my side. If I cant come thru my back door and see her there waiting on me, to say - hey baby- I dont know. I just dont know.

If you've read this far, I feel ashamed and embarrassed to be begging.

And I would never in a million years, if she wasn't so important to me.

I could write books on how much I love Luca.

I will spend the rest my my life repaying even one penny back.
