Support for Stephen

Hello. My name is Michele Savage and my son in law Stephen Odom and daughter Hannah need some help and support. They are parents to Rory, 11, and Theo, 8 months. Stephen works for Smallwoods and is their only source of income. Hannah is a stay at home mom. They have had a tough time recently. Stephen has been suffering for a while with syncope episodes. On April 17th, while at work, he experienced what was thought to be a seizure. He was transported to a local hospital by ambulance. He was released without any clear answers. On April 26th he woke up with left sided numbness and was incoherent. He was taken back to the hospital for observation and was once again left with no answers and even more confusion and questions. On April 27 he woke up with a temperature of 104.5 degrees. He was admitted and had multiple tests. He was discharged on the 30th and was told he most likely had Convulsive Syncope - which was what happened when they thought he had a seizure. Since April 17th he has only been able to work a handful of days and he’s used all of his available paid time off. He is still experiencing multiple debilitating symptoms that are forcing him to miss work and unable to perform daily tasks on his own. Some of these symptoms are dizziness, fatigue, migraines, heaviness of limbs and many more. This week he was informed that one of the tests they performed during his last hospital stay was to check for holes in his heart. He was diagnosed with Patent Foramen Ovale - a hole between the upper chambers of the heart. He will see a local cardiologist in the next couple of weeks. He will have to be referred to a cardiologist specialist in the Dallas area to have the hole repaired due to no local doctors can perform this procedure.

Stephen is a loving and amazing husband and father as well as son, brother, son in law, friend and so many other things to many other people. We covet your prayers and thoughts. If you are able to assist him and his family financially it would be greatly appreciated and paid forward when they are able to do so.
