Hi everyone,

Our mom, Amy Porter, was driving home April 21st when she was hit by a driver in a stolen vehicle involved in a high-speed chase. Her car was flipped upside down in the grass near the shoulder of I-20 in Aledo, Texas, and she was thrown from the driver’s seat upon impact. We are very blessed and thankful that a few good samaritans stopped to pull her from the car to safety before the police arrived.

She is currently in the hospital being treated for a concussion, three fractured vertebrae in her upper spine, broken ribs, a collapsed lung, and multiple cuts and bruises across her body.

Although she is physically weak and shaken, she is conversing with us and seems to be in good spirits.

While we know the road to recovery is just starting, we are grateful for the support and love we have felt thus far. We appreciate any donation, no matter the amount.
