Hi, My name is Laurel and my dear neighbor, Katie and her 8 year old son Max, need our help. Today she received an eviction notice demanding she pay back rent in three days or be evicted!! She is a single mom, a widow and seriously struggling. I have known her for years, and she been an outstanding neighbor and friend. She has fallen behind and needs our help.

For a bit of back story, she was laid off in March 2020 at the onset of Covid and has had job instability ever since. As a single mom, this has made making ends meet difficult. Despite working with the city, housing authorities and doing her diligence and homework, the rental management company is moving faster than the city to evict her before she can come up with the funds. If you have anything to spare, she would be so grateful . She is two months behind rent and needs $4800 by Friday, November 17, 2023.

This situation can happen to any of us. Katie is a dedicated mother and kind human.
