Ron Manuel Medical (Uber Robbery)

Hi, My name is Elizabeth and I started this Go Fund Me for the Manuel Family. Ron Manuel's Daughter and I are childhood friends. I spent much of my childhood with them. You could even say I practically lived with them at one point, because I was always welcomed to their home. Ron's wife Charlotte would show us how to cook while teaching us Bible verses and Ron coached Laura in Golf and Id always tag along! He showed me how to swing, and always paid for an extra bucket of golf balls so I could "practice" too. This Family has had to overcome so much adversity the past few years and this violently brutal robbery adds to the List. Its with this Go Fund Me that I hope I can connect to people who can help this wonderful family. A few years ago Ron suffered a very major medical emergency. The Family in that time had a beautiful home and recently accepted their 4 year old granddaughter to live with them permanently. It was Ron, his wife and the new grandbaby girl along with their loving dachshund and chihuahua pups. At 70 years old Ron was settling down for retirement and spending his Life with his Family. Tragically he suffered a Massive Heart Attack and Stroke that left him permanently disabled. And permanently paralized on the leftside of his face. After suffering from the heart attack and stoke the medical bills piled up and the job he once loved left him unable to perform any more. Leaving him optionless in means of work. On top of it all they lost their beautiful home and moved to a small apartment. Ron being the strong willed person he is slowly recovered and was thankful for a job opportunity with Uber Eats. It gave him the ability to work again and provide for his family. On Feb 5th 2019 Ron went to pick up a meal at the Ihop in Chandlor, Arizona to delivered. As he was making his way to his car he was Violently Attacked and Robbed. 2 men and female brutally assaulted him stole his wallet and then stole his car. Although Police and EMS arrived immediately Ron would not accept the medical attention in fear of this new finacial burden that he and has family could just not handle. He is now homebound with no vechile, medical bills, bills to pay and mouths to feed all because of this sensless act of violence.
