My name is Kirsty. On august 9th our house caught fire from an unknown electrical cause in the garage. We are all alive including our dogs which we know is the biggest blessing. This is a rental property and will be repaired and is insured by the owners however we did not have contents insurance. This page is an effort to raise money mainly for my parents. We lived with them in attempts for all of us to get through the financial challenges of this year. By living together we were just able to get by/pay rent and we were not at all prepared for a set back. My parents lost their income due to Covid and health challenges and they will never ask for help. My mom consistently gives her last 20 dollars to help someone else so we are mainly reaching out for them. We will do everything we can to help them and to keep our family afloat but this is a major set back. This money will be used to secure a new rental property and pay for food in the meantime. We will also need to replace a lot of belongings. Any help is appreciated.
