Sometimes life throws you some real curve balls - and 2020 has been full of them. Unfortunately, this year has thrown quite a whopper at our friend Holli, and we are here to ask you for some help.
In September, Holli was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Without diving too much into medical jargon, it is pretty aggressive. Luckily, her doctors and oncologists have responded with equal aggression in terms of a treatment plan. This means that Holli will be undergoing at least eight months of chemotherapy and surgeries.
As a single mother and breadwinner supporting two awesome kiddos (plus an adorable Corgi), this treatment plan will place a significant burden on Holli’s finances. The reality of this situation is that she will be worrying about things like rent and food alongside the concerns for her own health.
That’s where you'll come in. Over the years, through her volunteer efforts with Random Acts and running the Central Pantry Food Bank of Central & Northeast Missouri, Holli has been a tireless helper to others. Even now, she is mostly concerned for her kiddos, and how this will affect their lives. We are hoping to show her some of the kindness she has spread in the world.
We are starting this GoFundMe in an effort to take some of the strain off of Holli, and let her focus on her health, and her family. Thank you for your help!
