My son, Giovanni, woke up one day with severe leg and arm pain that progressed extremely quickly. He has been hospitalized since 8/21/2023 and has progressively gotten worse since then and now no longer has the strength or feeling in his legs and feet he needs to walk. On 8/30/2023, Giovanni was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome and was told he is not able to walk at this time. As of 9/1/2023, he has finished his IVIG treatments, however his ability to walk has still been ripped from his little toddler body and they don’t expect it to return quickly, as it can take 6 months average for a full recovery.
I’m asking for donations to help cover costs of a wheelchair, medical expenses, and anything else he may need once he is released from the hospital. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
