Sandra is an amazing human being and I have been lucky to be a witness to this all of my life. She has been an extraordinary godmother to my daughter, an even more incredible mother to her own children and wife to her husband. In December of last year, as Sandra and her family were getting ready for the holidays they received some heartbreaking news. Sandra was diagnosed with endometrial cancer. She continued working up to Christmas Eve and had surgery at the end of December. After a successful surgery, Sandra began chemo last week and was hoping to be back to her old routines by the end of next month.However, during some tests they discovered yet another type of cancer. Sandra has recently been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. This came as a shock to her entire family and friends. Once Sandra is done with this round of chemo she will have surgery once again to remove her thyroid and will also have to go through radiation. Aside from the emotional stress of having to go through this treatment, she must find a way to make money after not working since December. Sandra and her family are now faced with many medical bills they find impossible to afford.I am asking you to help in any way you can to help ease this pain and suffering her family is currently facing.
