My name is JacksI was born in Barcelona, Spain, and I've been living in Indianapolis for the last 15 years.
Indianapolis is a city that has given me a lot. The good has been the most amazing experiences that I ever had; the bad has been the most terrible experiences that I ever had.
No filter, no chill—that has been pretty much my life. I have met extraordinary people and had extraordinary adventures. Indianapolis is the city where I got married, got my green card, and where my friends from Spain used to come every year.
The last 2 years have been extremely hard due to health issues, housing issues, and a lot of other problems.
Indianapolis It is also the city where I got my biggest heartbreaks. I watched my marriage collapse, had one of the worst abusive relationships of my entire life, and then my last relationship, which was so intense, so good, and also so heartbreaking.
It appears that I haven't been able to overcome my last relationship. To the point where it's very very difficult for me to stay here.
it's time for a fresh start. It's time to find a place with better weather, the ocean, and great forests.
I believe the universe always points you in the right direction. I've recently discovered that I have a family relative living in California, and I'm going to be relocating myself there.
I don't have a lot; I have a little bit, and it's going to be very easy to transport. I do still need to get the movers and find a place. You know, we're starting from scratch because of money that I don't have.
My birthday is coming up, and what better way to celebrate my birthday than to help me cover all these costs so I can just get on the road?
I keep good memories about this city. The city has given me a lot, but this city is not giving me anything anymore, and it's time for me to move on. I'm stuck with my last relationship that I cannot get over, I'm stuck with my job, and I'm not happy. So now I know what I need to do.
I'm going for the first time to meet my cousin and to see how all the logistics will work. Then I'll be back, and as soon as I get the money to move, I'll move. You know, I still have to pay the Turbojacks and this is not going to be imminent, but it's in my plans—it's in my short-term plans. The only thing I need is just some money to get U-Haul my driver and my apartment there .
With the money that I'm saving every month at work and the money that I can get from here, I will definitely set up a date for my departure.
Changes are scary , but for the better
